Biking or Walking

If you don’t have a bike or need yours repaired, check with your local shop. Some are offering curbside drop-off and pickup for mechanical services, and even home delivery of new bikes—what service! These maps are color-coded for mountain biking, but they’re also good for exploring on foot.

Social Distancing

Concerned about crowds like the ones that caused beach closings? Try less-frequented areas like Riverton Trolley Park in Portland (Map 6), Lowell Preserve in Windham (Map 8), or Libby Hill Forest in Gray (Map 12). Remember to keep at least 6 feet between you and other riders.

Getting Out

Be sure to check the website or Facebook pages for the park or preserve you’re planning to visit. There may be restrictions due to the coronavirus or poor trail conditions. If not, with these maps you’ll be ready for some fun, fresh air, and exercise—a few things that will help us stay in good health!
